FV 55 flow-vac machine for vacuum packaging
FLOW-VAC flow pack machine for vacuum packs made of heat-shrink barrier film, for food products.
Description
The FV 55 uses the FLOW-VAC system, developed by ULMA together with Sealed Air, to form a vacuum pack around the product from a single CRYOVAC heat-shrink barrier film. The film reel is mounted under the infeed belt, so the product does not touch the sealing area and the longitudinal and cross seals stay clean and hermetic.
The machine detects the start of each product, automatically matches it to the pack and adapts to the speed of the upstream line. Control is provided by an industrial PC with a touch screen and Windows-based graphical software, which makes format changes and connection to the factory network easier. The stainless steel construction is designed for the hygiene conditions of the food industry.
