Description
KATENA is an automatic flow scale installed under an existing source (hopper, elevator, belt) to weigh free-flowing materials in batches: grain, seeds, salt, sugar, rice or fertilisers. The material enters the weigh hopper up to the preset weight, is discharged into a discharge hopper, and the net weight of each batch is added to the recorded total.
The instrument is certified for accuracy class 0.2 according to the MID Directive, meaning a maximum error of 0.1 % of the totalised quantity, and can be used in commercial transactions. The system includes FLINTEC load cells, FESTO electro-pneumatic equipment, ATEX sensors and an automation cabinet with the SYSTEC IT8000E indicator, with serial ports for printer and PC.
